Production description

Seamless pipes: Stainless steel billet is heated and pierced to form a hollow shell, then cold drawn or cold rolled over a mandrel to achieve precise OD and wall thickness. Multiple passes with intermediate annealing and pickling ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

Welded pipes: Stainless steel coil is slit to required width, roll-formed into tubular shape, and welded longitudinally by TIG, plasma, or ERW. The weld seam may be heat treated (post-weld annealing) to restore corrosion resistance. The tube is then sized, straightened, and cut to length.

Both processes may include polishing, bright annealing, or pickling for final surface finish. Finished tubes are inspected for OD, wall thickness, straightness, and surface defects, then packed for shipment.

Shipping Packaging

For export, stainless steel pipes are bundled with interleaved paper or plastic caps on ends, wrapped in VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, packed in wooden crates or on ISPM-15 pallets, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Labels include grade, dimensions, quantity, and heat number for safe sea freight.
